It's all about MUSIC

1. A talent for singing is not in-born. It is developed from a simple interest.
2.Singing is simply story-telling with the right tune.
3.Those who sing are less violent than those who do not.
4.Singing is a heart-to-heart talk process, not mouth-to-ear.
5.When on sings, he gives more of himself; not more of his songs.
6.A singer does not really know that he has a good voice. He only realizes it once he is told.
7.A singer does not only want a place under the sun. He also wants a place under the spotlight
8.Singing pop with a classical technique is as bad as singing classical with a pop technique, unless one likes to be in style
9.Everyone has that secret desire to sing. Only a few admit it. Some don't say it. The rest are not aware of it.
10.Sooner or later we will realize that singing does not only refer to good voice. It also includes stage performance.

Charice's Vocal Profile

Enter 16-year-old Charice Pempengco. Now, I’ve heard a lot of good young singers who were considered great because they sounded like adults (Bianca Ryan and a young Christina Aguilera for instance). Charice Pempengco goes beyond this classification, as she is the best female vocalist in the world right now regardless of age. Her low register is powerful, steady and clear while her chest voice is full and lush and has the greatest range of any chest voice I have ever heard. Combine this with an equally great head voice and an incredibly full falsetto and you have the best vocalist I think I’ll hear in my lifetime.

Charice’s vocal range can be considered mezzo soprano though her upper register can be classified as dramatic soprano. The highest note I’ve heard her sing live is a G#5 in One Moment in Time.

I did see one hiccup as far as vocal performances go, though, and that was Charice’s rendition of Against All Odds (she was following the Mariah Carey version). Given, it was an improvised performance that was not planned, but it does sound like Charice does not have the same range in her head voice as Mariah Carey does, though really no one but Mariah has had the range (Charice does beat Mariah in the range of her chest voice though).

Charice Pempengco has now been signed and is working on an album produced by David Foster, which should help correct her one flaw (if you can call it that), which is finding her musical identity. Fortunately for Charice, though, there are two ways to prove yourself, either find your own style or outdo the masters at their own styles. Sometimes finding individual style is important because you don’t want to come off as a second-rate Whitney Houston when singing her songs, but when you can actually destroy the original version with your vocals alone, perhaps originality isn’t all that necessary. David Foster has produced a couple of arrangements specifically for a couple of Charice’s performances, and I look forward to hearing more arrangements that can take advantage of her unique vocal strengths.

Singing and Music ????!

Singing is many things to different people. It is art, culture, hobby, entertainment, career or profession. Singing is for anyone. However, while many love to sing, others find it frightening.
Now, let's talk about the two singers that amaze and inspire me.Let us start from REGINE VELASQUEZ or commonly known as ASIA'S SONGBIRD:
Regine is a "lyric-coloratura soprano" i mean not a mezzo soprano well if she does she will definitely end up like Celine, Whitney, Beyonce, etc.
(lyric coloraturas have a range of approximately - or around - middle C to a "high F". They specialize in music that is distinguished by agile runs and leaps.)
According to the information I've gathered, Regine's range is B2-B6 or 4 Octaves with her chest voice that covers 3 octaves of her range..
You can call her the "risk taker" , cause she can belt out a song standing, sitting, or even hanging in the midair (on her R2K Concert). Regine is simply forever flawless and effortless whether she's sitting, standing or whatever remake song she does, LIVE or in STUDIO (Cover Remake) Versions, REGINE always "Stands Out" and make HER OWN ORIGINAL Style on each songs she sings... She DOES NOT only leave you breathless and speechless, REGINE delivers from her heart, her soul, her versatile voice, lung power and DIVINE DIVANESS!!! I love her!!!hahaha

The second one is CHARMAINE CLARICE "CHARICE" RELUCIO PEMPENGCO or commonly known as THE INTERNATIONAL SINGING SENSATION:
